A tech partner takes technical ownership for a company that does not have an engineering team: decides the stack, designs and builds the product, manages delivery, and advises on technology, like a fractional CTO who also writes the code.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
You work directly with the senior person making the decisions and writing the code. No account managers, no handoff between design and development.
